About the Artist:

These artworks are not about a particular individual or his personal condition, but about fundamental physical and mental states, that influence us. All my inspirational things were transposed into these paintings. I've started with charcoal sketches and drawings, later evolving to painting on glass, engravings, and recently I adopted the technique of knife painting and mixing acrylics with different compounds.

In contrast to the realistic themes, in some paintings, an abstract interior structure can be observed that relates to the emotional, psychological and profound states of the individual. My paintings open and expand the real space and give it an extra quality, thus creating a virtual reality. In this way, space becomes an image carrier, of which the viewer becomes an integral part. Light, in all its qualities, warm or cold, lit or as a reflection, served me as an element of atmospheric and constructive design, to show the essence of simultaneous, present and live thinking.

The process involves acrylic colors, in several layers, or different blended compounds; the creative process can last, from three days to several weeks, depending on the creative concept and the size of the canvas. My style is contemporary and can be adapted to any interior space.

I create art only on quality material, 100% cotton canvas. The cotton cloth is laid on a wooden chassis. It can be hung directly on the wall. No additional frame is required. Mediums used: acrylic, oil, foil that mimics different metals - gold * silver * copper, casting medium, silicone.

I like to express myself in a colorful, playful & original way, thus, each piece is authentic and one of a kind. I'm a free spirit artist, which also enjoys doing commissioned work, so, if you have any preferences, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you & Enjoy!
